Hockey shoes for cricket

A mate who plays hockey is joining our cricket club.

We rarely play on a grass wicket so rather than splash out for pure cricket spikes he's looking for cricket friendly hockey shoes in cricket friendly colours.

Any tips? Any end of hockey season bargains out there?
