Fun drills for winter training
« on: December 14, 2021, 11:47:17 AM »

I thought it would be good to post some fun drills and share good and different indoor training ideas.

This am I saw on twitter a kind of doubles tennis match with bats and a tennis ball, but you had to play the ball into the ground and bounce over a net.

Also a team fielding drill when you pick up the ball and play 0s and Xs/three in a row.

Looked quite fun.

Anyone see or do anything else?

In previous years we've done our indoor training in a school gym hall, everyone turns into a massive kid again when the crash mats come out for diving catches.

That drill actually looks great fun and very useful in getting your eye in. Thanks for sharing!
