Bat Crack Help please
« on: March 18, 2022, 10:21:15 AM »

Hi

A few cracks have appeared on my sons bat. This is currently his main bat and has recently has been refurbed. Just worried we are now 5 weeks from the season and don't want it breaking.

It should be fine, it looks like it's surface level, so nothing to be concerned about.

The one on the exposed willow, what you can do is get some fine sandpaper and thin superglue - just put a little of the superglue into the crack, and just as it is setting, give it a quick sand. Be sure to sand along the grain

yea as Chad says these will be fine.

Just pop some superglue on the one above the scuff then rough it up with some sandpaper - this will make a willow/glue bond/filler which should stop it from getting any worse

I'll pop out to the hardware shop and get some.
