We had All Rounder 2 seasons ago and our experience mirrored many others on here so i don`t think coincidence...

We are GN now and its hard to fault, quick, easy and their Pro Performance range quality and reasonably priced.....my Sleeveless Pullover was ordered on a Monday and arrived on the Friday of the same week !

It doesn't seem likely that Gray-Nicolls will be leaving the cricket market any time soon.  ;)

i dont think allrounder are that bad, they made a mistake a few years ago moving to screen printing but realized it quickly and remedied it. Its harsh to criticize the pricing as they are dictated by adidas pricing to them, try finding it much cheaper elsewhere - have to make a profit as well.

service wise they are no worse than any teamwear supplier, timescales was always an issue but that is probably down to sheer weight of orders all coming in at similar times, we use Masuri/NXT as well and they are no different.

its annoying from a club point of view as we all now need to find alternative kits, its a time and hassle nobody wants.

I have to say that I disagree entirely that All Rounder are no worse than any other provider.

We use Shrey at the moment and haven't had to wait more than 5 working days for an order. That includes two orders  for 50+ items in late March.

All Rounder took over 2 months to turn around single orders during the winter. Customer Sevice is terrible. If they answer customer service at all, it is to give commitments to deliver within timescales that they then fail to keep to.  Judging from general feedback, this appears to be fairly standard stuff for them.

Ultimately they have taken on too many contracts without the capacity to fulfil them

I am currently in conversations with Fenton Sports (Essex based), Serious Sport, TNF, Warsop, and Shrey.

I have contacted All Rounder by e-mail earlier this week and I have not received a response and I am not holding my breathe that they will. I have informed the powers that be at my cricket club just in case the worse should happen, as it is better to be prepare.

Any reason why you wouldn't consider GN?

Fenton Sports specifically deal with GN.

GN clothing is OK - we've used it for a few years now via Sporting Billy. The quality isn't Adidas, but it's pretty good for the price and generally most the club members are happy (aside from the side panels on the pro shirts tearing annually but that's more from us throwing ourselves around). The service from Sporting Billy is by far the best of any retailer I've used over the years so would happily recommend them whether you're local to Wilts or elsewhere.

Oddly, when I originally spoke to GN about getting a club shop directly with them they were quoting more to have their own club shop than dealing with Sporting Billy (again with a club shop). The sales rep kept banging on about how club members would get a discount off GN by going direct but wanted to charge an extra 15/20% in the first place for the kit (even after having sent him the retailers prices!?). Was all a bit odd really, even matching the prices of the retailer would've made them more profit so couldn't quite get my head around it all!

GN is based in our village and we stopped using them for our club kit.........

We use SS now and the quality is pretty good. At the start of the season they do a discount for a bulk buy.

SS kit is really good. Just a nightmare getting what you order.

I have carried out my own considerable amount of research as well as contacting various companies; I have been specifically been in contact with Kit Locker and have acquired full kit samples for myself with their Nike range; so looking forward to receiving it before Christmas.
