World Class Willow Pro X20 5 Star

Not really a review as of yet - just a thread kind of born out of a frustration that folks won't share their images when they have one, and someone is asking on here for some images. What made the forum great was people willing to share pictures and thoughts on bats, I appreciate this does take time, but it only works when folks put in some time and effort into doing things.

Don't have time for a review yet - will update it in future. Don't have the bat in front of me, I had logged a bunch of specs before leaving it in someone's momentary care.

Specifications
Weight - 2lb 13.5oz
Edge - 36-37mm
Spine - 64mm
Shoulder - 15mm
Splice - 38-39mm
Toe Edge - 21mm
Toe Centre - 27mm
Camber - Approx 5mm
Blade:Handle Configuration - SBLH
Handle - Skinny oval (From memory)

Some Thoughts

Purchased from eBay - not direct. Was 1.5oz heavier than advertised - a little naughty. You know who you are...

Performance wise - the pressing is really very good. The strike zone feels substantial, and very responsive. Excellent in this regard.

Handle/Pick up - Handle is very skinny. Despite this, the bat does feel okay for the weight, and the handle has more flex than some, but it isn't ridiculously whippy.

Stickers are some of the best on the market, possibly the best. Pretty phenomenal, quality is exceptional, and designs work well with most colour combinations. Brand is really quite noticeable.

Looks - Lowest grade they offer, I think they have the following: Limited Edition, Players, Reserve, 5 Star. (Excluded The Chaos, as it's a separate model that doesn't really conform to their stock grading.) A bit on the expensive side for an entry level bat - but if all are of this quality, then fair. The grain structure if you look past the colour is excellent.

Finish/shape - Not really a criticism - the shape is very vanilla. It's very much tailored to what the market is after - convex profile, with a duckbill to exaggerate that hitting zone. They have left the toe fairly substantial, and a good amount of wood in the shoulders and splice, so you end up with a pretty well balanced bat really. Finish wise - it's not the best I've seen - but it does hit the benchmark for a decent enough finish in my opinion.

PS. Apologies if picks are poor. Took these in a little bit of a rush.

Thank you Chad, there seemed to be a forcefield preventing people from uploading pictures/info of WCW bats! It looks a stunner  :D
