I've had a look at the Nike baseball shoes. I think you're fine fielding in them but anything on a grass wicket would be problematic as the stud is much thicker (matron!). It would chew up the surface much more than a conventional spike imo.

Which are finished in a very similar way to the AOB ones.

Thanks to a recommendation from @Thorne_Cricket I thought I would give Sports Spikes a go.

These are in the post back to me as we speak...




They will need to be hidden from my son who has the same sized feet as me 😳
