Ouch, i think spiked trianers are good if they are the right type of trainers (obvious i know!) but if they arent right, it could be quite dangerous.

Yeah I lost my big toenail on my front foot wearing trainers.  Fine for fielding, not the best for batting IMHO

It was a Sunday league game against Stone, I was on 22 off 18 overs () then got a yorker that hit my toe, I thought I'm scoring so slowly I'll retire hurt came back in at the end to hit a few and get an extra batting point

I have a pair of these Puma trainers and they're the most comfortable trainers I've ever had. I was also looking at trainers to get spiked from Sports Direct and I would deffinately go for Puma.
Don't think you can go wrong with either of these two to be honest.
