Little crack that needs fixing
« on: June 02, 2010, 03:04:06 PM »

Hi guys,

I have a little crack close to the handle of my Kook ICE. What's the best way to fix this? Sandpaper as sending it back to Rebel Sports in NZ isn't an option. Absolutely love the bat. Will take it with me in the nets, then do some knocking. But I wanna keep the bat as long as possible. So a withy reparation action is required.

Thanks.

PS. I will take a picture of it tomorrow and pass it to somebody who wants to put it online.

Cheers

Took the bat to practice on Wednesday and I hit 5 consecutive boundaries :-)
So loving that bat.

today I used some sandpaper, the crack is nearly gone but it looks decent. Oiled it and will knock it in this weekend.

I think kookaburra's have a bit of a reputation for cracking at the handle. Mine went the other day and was only small but after a net it was cracked half way up the back! Hopefully yours doesn't turn out like mine :)
