Practice balls
« on: June 16, 2010, 11:47:04 AM »

Im looking to buy a few balls, ideally around 12, to use for nets/throwdowns etc. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is cheap? I'm not looking for a great quality, just so ive got supplies for nets.

beware of low quality balls, bat breakers!! You may be better off with fewwer of a higher quality than many low quality ones!!

Very good point!

Had a nose around on ebay, and 12 Readers for £45 inc postage seems to be the best deal ive found on there

I bought them and can assure you that they were a waste of money.Spend £15 more and you will be surprised by the difference in quality.

I can get 12 decent balls for £60 posted, league quality, I don't bother with cheap ones as they improve bat sales but when you have a special bat you don't want it broken.

I would get AJ Sports own brand, much better than the Somerset league balls we use.
