My BAS Vampire Bow 20/20
« on: July 05, 2010, 09:55:47 AM »

Got that £20 on Wednesday myself (thanks for all the sarcy comments guys) and added it to the rest and recieved it the next day! the bat weighs 2'10 but picks up I'd say around 2'9 which ideally was what I was after. First instinct after the gruesome knocking in progress is that it should play very well as expected. Bat has 13 grains, 3 of which are heartwood on the right hander's inside edge. I purchased this from Asad and as usual offered very good service. Pics were sent on request and Asad halped as much as he could in my selection. The bat was wrapped very well as well as being in the provided bat cover which is very handy. Can't wait to use it but £150+ bats require careful knocking in first. yay. Some pics for all you bat fanatics are just coming :)

Looks great mate. What makes this a 20/20 bat then? or is that just the name?

the size is the exact same as my kookaburra so there's no longer blade, shorter handle etc. it might just be the model I think. may have a bigger profile than others. not overly sure. Sure Asad could clean this up.....

nice bat, I have one also factory knocked, ping on these bats is amazing, BOW 2020 has slight thinner edges and more meaty middle.

cheers !!

Are BAS bats handmade, or are they made in India and stickered up as BAS?
