my new Laver Heritage set
« on: June 19, 2010, 08:21:12 PM »

Hi everyone, I ordered 2 Heritage for my self a month ago and I got this 2 pieces of timber few hrs ago, made to my spec's, I wanted to have a Laver for this season as my 2 season's old firefly is too light for me (2.9 lbs) and I could not play much ( its real gun though), so I went for 2 set's of Heritage this time.

bats are 2.11 and 2.12 lbs with special profile with least concaving (2.11 has no concaving at all with slight thinner edges than other) .As everyone knows James service is class of its own and both came very well packed, new cover's have more space.

pics to enjoy

thanks

Yeah, I'm sure I'll be shot down (and remember, I've had a Laver) but I've seen nicer willow by far, I'm sure they're graded on performance, but the willow is ugly to me.

Heritage is made of G2 clefts and pic's are really not doing justice for the willow quality/grains, I my self have had 5 Laver's so far and our club mates mostly play with custom Laver's so usually I see all grades of Laver's , I am pretty happy with their looks and mallet test and I know what will they do in real field. cheers !!

PB/firefly willow is lighter my firefly took some time come to life , these bats are quite big in size and with mix of James pressing and knocking on top these are top gun's , his blade pressing is amazing, he even makes Grade 3 pings like hell.
