My New Pink Newbery Grizzly 2.10
« on: July 23, 2010, 04:48:35 PM »

I sold my ice recently and decided to have a go with a newbery (based on the rave reviews they get)

I bought this grizzly from asad and it is aesthetically pleasing. 8-10 straight grains with no blemishes.

It weighs 2.10 and picks up not too light but not too heavy. Just right.

I used it in my first net today and it felt nice in the hands with the oval handle and good balance. However it did feel like it has a very hard face. I felt like i was timing some balls and they simply wern't going anywhere. I felt somewhat disappointed baring in mind they get great reviews and cost a fair bit. Hopefully it will get better once i use it more.

Pictures to follow.
