Hawk made by Bernie Facer
« on: August 10, 2010, 01:13:53 PM »

When I saw the post about wanting to see some pics of Hawk bats a few weeks ago I thought I would take some of my Hawk bat made by Bernie Facer (about 4-5 years ago when they just had the one bat model).

It has been a trusty weapon and is really flying at the moment although don't think it has much longer left with a massive crack down one edge and being held together by tape! Only downside is that it isn't very well balanced and picks up heavier than I would have expected of a 2lb 7oz which surprised me given the previous Baronet bats I had from him all picked up well. Has quite a bow to it although not sure the pictures really show this.

Anyway here are the pics:

Im quite happy to swap the bat rather than sell it.
Its a pity I couldnt get along with the shape as the bat is quite brilliant.
Could be tempted by a decent set of gloves and pads. ;)
