I do have a question for everyone.......
why has nobody mentioned Solanki's knock?
His shots were sublime, the ball went like a rocket, and it was the base on whch the whole win was built!

Solanki looked awesome, and to think we were talking about fernleys earlier lol

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

I'm glad you changed the tone from the first entry.
I have changed my entry several times as well. But to summarise, I admitted that the Goose was used very well in their innings. And it was entertaining and contained good clean hitting.
I just find it amusing why you can't seem to acknowledge any other innings other than one by a Mongoose....even an innings which was a stunning one....boring old DF bat or not!

The tone of my first post was always tongue in cheek. There was a similar tongue in cheek post regarding the Joker by Charlie, get over it.

As for not acknowledging a good innings, why do I need to in a Gareth Andrew and Mongoose thread?

No they wouldn't....but alas, that seems to be the way of the World!
Solanki's knock was excellent and pure class. No slogging, just gorgeous shots!

So I bet you would love to see the end of test matches too? Too old fashioned for you?

when moeen got out i though we'd be alright then solanki started :(
the few times he tried to "slog" he mistimed it but it was a sublime knock

Solanki's innings was sensational, when he makes runs it looks very easy. I just which it wasn't always against Surrey  >:(

and Gloucestershite, always against Gloucestershite :(

Gareth used the MMi3 today in their 4 day game against Middlesex today, scoring 73. One of the sixes was massive, hitting the top tier of the grandstand.

It's the first time it's been used in 1st Class cricket.
