Friends at county have used them and say they are incredibly difficult to face as their is no hand action to pick the delivery from, also say they are invaluable when training against spin and one of the best things they've used.

Ball seems to come out faster on these machines then an actual bowling arm, ball comes out of a black hole.  great practice to build muscle memory though and saves alot on bowling time as in bad balls and long run ups.

i faced it at the bola factory last year, he bowled me monty paneser and shane warne, never got anywhere near it...
