I would also only buy an English brand bat these days, with the exception of SS. The best bats I have used are M&H, Warsop, Newbery, and GM which are all worth a go :) I also think that Lekka are producing some nice looking sticks and there is a Lekka rep on the forum to help you there, along with a load more who can help you out :)

I think you are leaning towards going to try one out! Which is fair enough :) as many people dont like buying semi blind!

I don't, but buying from Asad @ Uzisports.com is pretty much like buying from a store. His customer service is excellent, and he will do his utmost to get the best bat for you.

Hunts county were selling SS at there shop. The bats looked very nice...
