New artificial match pitch and New enclosed practice facility.
« on: September 26, 2010, 12:18:36 PM »

We will be installing a new artificial match pitch and an enclosed practice facility very soon, has anyone on here linked with any companies who do this type of work. Ive had many people price the works and I'm now going back to them with exact specifics of what i want and the type of services we require and asking them to confirm prices for the works. There are a number of companies who do this type of works and as with everything some will be better than others so has anyone had this type of works done recently at there club and if so who did it and how did it turn out.

The only thing i still have to decide on is which surfaces to go for, a surface which plays true and fast no matter the weather with very low maintenance or a system which will play different depending on rolling and watering and the weather but requires regular maintenance or perhaps one of each ? possibly going for one of each but unsure on which to use for the match pitch and which for the practice facility. The match pitch wont be used that much for actual matches although our juniors will use it more regularly once they are fully up and running again.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Had a 2 bay net installed before start of season which seem ok + just installed in the last week a match pitch not used yet.

Both installed by Binghams.

Other companies come to mind TTS, Agripower ?, 3D,
