To buy or not to buy, that is the question?
« on: October 14, 2010, 04:07:17 PM »

Hi Chaps,

Hope you're well!

Lately I have been very tempted to buy another English brand bat for next season. But I am confused whether I should buy one or not. I mean at the moment I have the following bats (which I intend to use next season);

CA 12000 Plus
Custom Made MB Malik LE
Newbery Krakatoa
Crappy plain and GN Powerbow 3* (for rainy and slogging condition)

MB Malik LE is the latest bat which I got and haven't used it at all! However, as I said earlier I am very tempted to buy another bat which will be for sure an English brand. So I just want your suggestion that should I buy another bat or not? I have also planned that if I buy a bat for next season then for one calendar year I will not buy any bat.

Budget is restricted at a certain amount in which a good bat can be purchased. As far brand goes I haven't made up my mind but it will not be Newbery or any bigger brands bat (unless it is a bit cheap and is really good).

Looking forward to hear from you guys.

Cheers!

What I had thought that if I buy any then it would be either Warsop, Salix, M&H or Redback.

BUT I don't like Warsop that much so rule them out. I really like Redback BUT Gary's payment method is costly for me.

So I am left with Salix and M&H. I am not sure which one among these two is better.

Both are great, and about equally priced!

iv never seen a saf but a friend has a h4l and its light as a feather despite having a pretty large profile!
failing that lekka are very good. i only have a 20/20 bat but its massive! and is very light considering
