Just wondering what everyone thinks is the best way to do this?

run a stump along them at a 45 degree angle

press and run the edges on the brim of a bath tub or a ceramic sink or anything that his hard and has a rounded edges (kitchen work top)

if the edges of the bat are square and the ball hits it the wood is likely to split.

so u roll the edges of the bat so its not 90 degrees makes edges look smaller but prevents cracks from happening!

Rob pack does it with a bone

I've always used a wooden bat mallet to round the edges using much light tapping. Seems to work.
