M&H Solution on ebay, thoughts please.
« on: February 13, 2011, 01:26:07 PM »

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Millichamp-Hall-Solution-Short-Handle-Grade-1-/110647440791?pt=UK_SportingGoods_CricketBats_SM&hash=item19c319f597

It looks very nice, better than most M&H bats I've seen, but I did point out to the seller his price was £35 more than the current price. He responsed by saying a pro gave it to him. He's trying to blind people into believing the whole 'more grains = better' thing.

Not thinking to buy, just interested in your thoughts.

Exactly the same as one I got off of mike for a lad at our club...think Jimba had the other one I had as gave him the choice of the 2.

Comforms to the standard I'd expect when paying top dollar for an m&h I'd say

i contacted him aswell to explain the price difference and he told me it is custom made.

I explained that it is custom made for him and therefore could not be suitable for the next buyer so the premium price he is charging is a bit over the top.

Prodirect are selling it for cheaper if you're interested in buying it;

http://www.prodirectcricket.com/Products/M-H-Cricket-Bats-Solution-Grade-One-Short-Handle-Pre-Prepared-Black-16517.aspx

They also had Distinction, Harlequin, Original and S6 but all of those are sold and this is the only piece left.

This is the one I bought;

If your theory is right about getting the bat that is pictured, then I think that the one proDirect are selling comes off second best to the one on eBay personally. The one on eBay looks very nice, one of the best M&Hs I have seen, but after having come on here, I wouldn't be able to justify the hefty price tag for a bat like that.. :|

Great bat. I would have paid £300.00 if the weight was 1 lb or less.

Bidding has started on ebay.
Photos are not good quality, there appears to be no bat cover, standard first class postage only offered and as mentioned the seller has little track record.
Are we convinced it is a genuine M&H?

im sure the bat is genuine even thou the seller did spout some rubbish
dont think whoever bought this got a good deal thou,way over the top in the end.
M and H are great bats,not 100 per cent sure they justify their prices tags thou.
the solution picks up heavy as well,it really is bottom weighted with no concaving.
there are better deals available on this forum....sometimes!
