Linseed Oil
« on: December 28, 2008, 06:39:25 PM »

Does linseed oil go out of date?  Because my bat is in need of oiling and have found some linseed oil  but has been in the shed for about a year or something. So was wondering if it will be ok to use or not?

Just wondered thats all incase it made the willow dry up and split or something like that, ohh and speaking of cracks my bat has a crack that runs down the grain wich is about 2 inches long or something. Will this be a problem or not?

Has it got an anti scuff sheet? If not oil it, then put some tape on then a scuff sheet. it should be fine after that!
