Mongoose trouble
« on: March 18, 2011, 07:03:43 PM »

Evening lads and lasses ( any lasses on forum ? )

the point of this topic tonight is to vent my frustration at mongoose cricket over two weeks ago i paid tom for my replacement stickers and grip. Nothing arrived the first week which was no great shakes but when i pm'd tom he said there were sent out on the friday so i could expect them monday or early in tut week .

However this was not the case yesterday i pm'ed tom again asking on the where abouts of my stickers to be told il get them eventually theres a struggle getting hold of them at the moment which is strange as they were posted friday . iv asked for a refund and to be infromed of when there in stock . 24hrs on im still refundless and im not getting any replies is this good enough no its not all seems fine when there recivning moeny but not so qucik on giving it back if theres a genuine reason why not id understand but i could at least be informed instead of lied to !

I'm afraid it is the standard for online customer services. I've got a list as long as my arm of businesses that are brilliant at communication prior to and during payment, but the moment they have your money, it becomes very different.

I'm afraid good customer service is a rare thing in the online world.

I'm afraid it is the standard for online customer services.

not every company.

Tom Ayrtek deals with alot of online customers and tbh he is the best anybody could ever ask for in company service. Does everything in his power to make things right.

it is just a few bad dealings spoil the 10000 good 1's

no company deliberatly rips off people or means to casuse issues.

To be honest I've had similar (although not as extreme) with a highly regarded sponsor of this forum (not who you assume I mean). In minor instances it is nothing to worry about, but it is true to say that most companies these days are less willing to communicate once they have your money.

Edit: Refund processed - all sorted. Genuine reasons were behind the delay.
