GM Hero Helmet Problem
« on: March 23, 2011, 04:52:21 AM »

Hi Guys,

One of my club mate has GM Hero helmet which was screwed up by another clubmate who borrowed it! :facepalm:

Anyways, the adjustable size band is screwed up, the guy who borrowed it played around and broke it so it is in pieces so my friend wanted to know is it possible to get it fixed?

This is what he said;
Quote
2 things wrong with it.. the adjustable size band.. it wont tighten anymore.. and the strap that are on traditional helmets... need to install another chin strap

Thanks

Give GM a call they will sell you replacement parts and might even do fix it free of charge if you send it back to them and pay for the return  carriage too. I had a friend similar thing happened to his after his 4 year old got hold of his helmet and they sorted it free of charge he just had to pay for the carriage both ways.

My son uses this and it's fine for him

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.
