V6.0 strippers. P1 or P2?
« on: March 31, 2011, 11:36:19 AM »

I'm looking at getting some of the newest strippers and wondered what to go for.

I have heard that the latest ones have a better positioned rear thigh guard?

I currently have medium P2's but would like P1's. However, I had some medium P1s previously and swapped them for some p2s as they were too bulky. With the extra protection on the thighs. Are they still quite bulky with their extra protection, do they wrap around nicely?

Where is the cheapest place to get them?

Thanks

Unless you're facing proper pace I would go for P2.
Saves a bit of cash and you still get very good padding.
I got mine from Uzisports.

i have P1s and don't find them bulky, i'm not a massive fan of the inner thigh pad but ive never worn one before so to be expected.
The hip protection is much better than the old versions that had the round bit, and you don't really notice the extra rear protection in my opinion.

I tried strippers for the first time last night at nets. Borrowed my step brothers V6.0 P2's. Was really impressed with them. I'd tried a pair on ages ago and they felt rubbish but these ones i used last night fitted nicely. Only thing i couldnt comment on would be how easy they are to run in? anyone find they harder easier to run in than normal thigh protection?

considering buying some though.

I could not get on with them tbh I had the v6 p1 version but the inner thigh kept moving and going too low
