against: carlos remy(sussex and leics) during the time he was playing for Leicestershire.
He was so quick it was frightening. after 10 overs of bouncers I asked my opening partner if we should try to get in line and he replied:''get in line and you will get killed''

also Alistair Campbell and Andy Flower on our tour of Cheltenham. Both got hundreds,Flower did not make a mistake and was like a machine. Both got bored and retired after 100.
I did get a fifty that game thou!
In the bar we asked if either would come and talk to us about batting and got told they were in bed.
It was half past 8 in the evening.
I kid you not..

Couple of guys at our club have played against Tresco and Warne. Bit before my time though.

Carlos Remy is a top bloke, he is still playing in the Essex leagues. He only bowls off a few steps now. Entertaining as a bat also.

Faced Charl Willoughby few years back in a national cup match, he was sharp!!

Willoughby swings it nicely! Quickest i've faced was Franklin Rose on a green top at the Wanderer's and Simon Jones before the knee injury. Had no idea anybody could be that quick off such a short run. He actually gave our number 11 a concussion that day!
