Knee Locator?
« on: April 19, 2011, 06:20:13 PM »

I'm curious to know people's thoughts on knee locators, as I'd never worn pads with them until my most recent set. I thought that it would be a large improvement. However, due to the slightly too small nature of the pads (the danger of buying off the internet more cheaply without trying on), I have found them substantially less comfortable than my old Woodworm Premiers without a knee locator.

Basically, just want to know how other people see them. Essential? Beneficial? Indifferent?

What pads did you buy?

I have a knee locator and although my pads are a little small for me i still find them comfy enough

Can't really say I've noticed it tbh as my current pads are the first I have had with and can't feel any difference

got to agree to be honest most locators are nothing more than a little fancy indent and not relay a locator at all

Yup, tupigrips over the knees and elbows is a must on hard outfields.
