SS Bats

anyone used or bought or seen or played with the SS Gladiator or SS KP bat?? Are they thick, are there particularly good?

I had an SS Gladiator which was very good, but the handle was a bit average so I got it re-handled at L&W, but I ended up selling it on as the middle was too low. Still it was a great bat with 35mm edges and was 2lb8ozs, shame about the handle though.

My brother has a SS KP, and the edges are thick and they grains are lush.
Mind you, that was one of KP's, not so sure about the ones you get off the shelf.

He's a bit overprotective of it!
But when I get some pictures of it, will definitely put them up straight away!
