Removing marks made by bat stickers

Hi ,
    I am looking for some help if possible ,  I have removed stickers from my adidas bat and well what can I say ..... The marks are still there gutting only a young bat too  >:( basically given it a sand ... Still there put some beeswax on ..... Still there any ideas

Nail varnish remover may help on the sticky stuff, else it is simply more vigorous sanding.

Oh no .... I will have no arms left I have been using a electric sander recently does a good job , it just seems to be that the wood is darker around the sticker marks obviously down  to the sun ...  ??? 8)
