I did similar when knocking my h4l in. Dropped it and it took a chunk out of the back right at the toe. Hasn't caused any cracking though :)

ive done something with mine big chunk out of back but it did include me launching it at the changing room. also ayrtek lids are strong as i allso drop kicked that and not even a mark

iv got horrible news, my brother dropped the bat on concrete and its now got a big dent on the middle of the spine with loads of stone marks in it. :(
arggggg i really want shoot him right now !!

Any pictures? I would go mad if anyone dropped my new bat like that.

Ayrtek lids are very strong. Last week I flung mine from halfway between the pitch and the boundary all the way over the boundary cause I was annoyed with the umpires and two quicks had come on so I didnt need the helmet. I was amazed it was still in one piece
