used them for the past 3-4 years. gear is ok- nothing special. bats are indian/pak made and shipped over. toes and handles go pretty quickly in my experience. Softs are of a good design but gold on pads rubs off at the slightest touch. run by darren thomas and a guy called mike hayden. nice guys. they also do a team clothing range which darren tends to deal with. still have the elite pads and gloves. pads are starting to fall apart after a year ( golds already pretty much gone) gloves on the other hand are great. Leather palms are taking a bit of a battering as i used an octopus grip but the rest of the gloves in good nick. ive got a lot of kit from them for guys at my club and most has been good. few issues here and there but your going to get that with a new brand. Bags are massive. biggest bag ive ever seen. Weighs a ton. zips rubbish and fails pretty quickly and 3 outta 4 bags people have used at my club have lost a wheel at some point. mike does replace pretty quickly tho. Keeping gear is of a decent standard. its what i currently use. Wont be using them again after this year as looking to spend some cash on something that lasts a little longer. Does resonable sponsorship packages for good cricketers. usual 30% + off and 10% commsion on anyuthing you sell

i think thats about it. sorry for the  essay!

no probs. Before i joined here i thought they were pretty good. value wasnt too bad etc. my eyes have been opened to a whole new world on here so IMO i think you can get a better deal elsewhere. Give probats their dues tho. they do a good job for just the 2 of them and mikes son when hes about. Not easy starting a company.

Played against Lancashire Academy and one kid was using their stuff. Seemed decent enough. I've had a look on the website and the elite stuff is just Robinson sports rebranded!

yep, exactly the stuff i have, just with the probats logo. think even the black writing on the gold centre section of the pads is the same lol. Keeping stuff is ok tho.

I liked the fact you could get a grade 1 bat, test protection gloves and test protection pads for under £280

yeah thats what i thought aswell. if you ask you can normally get the postage taken off 2 if you order a decent amount of kit. my only concern is that yes its cheap now but you maybe looking at a new bat just after a year. maybe worth looking at a smaller brand on here to see if you can get a similar deal. werent blueroom doing an offer recently. cant remember to what  cost tho. at the end of the day ive had some great bats/kit from them and also some rubbish ones. i dont wanna push u in one direction as its your cash. hope its been helpful tho

Yer massively helpful mate, will keep looking around tho.

My plan is to buy all kit in bulk load so I could get some discount. Reason for buying all kit is that I want to buy a bat which I can knock in all winter as I never knock bats in for the correct ammount of time so want to see if it makes much difference...

well i think a few offer bulk deals. those who dont you can always ask. worst they can say is no. Vantage were doing some bulk deals recently. Think they may even still have a sale on. Obviously blueroom offer was on here so dont know if thats still working. sure there are a few options for you.
i hate knocking in bats. Ive made a Tourmong bat ( tour based mongoose) for our tour next week. getting everyone to do half an hour on it! saves me doing it all  :D

RS kit is usually of good standard, the bag design is very big as i had some a few years back when we used RS when with CCC.
