My Captain and best mate had a Smasher bat for a few years but towards the end of last season it got 2 cracks up around the shoulder either side of the splice. He thought it was a lost cause and was gutted cos he just loved the bat and hasnt really found a bat that felt this good in his hands. Personally not my cup of tea but thats just me.
Anyway i said i would see if i could get it sorted for him, but not to hold out much hope for it.

Sent the bat to Gray Nicholls 2 weeks ago and this was what i got back .
Pretty impressed. No sign of the cracks at all. New GN Oval Handle fitted. Complete blade refurb .

My Captain is away on holiday at the moment so hasnt seen it, tho have told him its back.
