Yes, I did look at kookaburra stuff as I already have the blade 950 gloves and they're brilliant. The kahuna stuff looks great and so do the blade 950 pads but they just seem more expensive than other makes.

Quite like the look of the kahuna players gloves with the grey palm as that would avoid getting the palm dirty picking up balls in the nets, etc but they're just too much really given that I don't play at a high standard and I don't actually remember ever being hit on the gloves.

I used my new kahuna 1000 gear for the first time today, lovely stuff and the pads are £75

I have a pair of Iridium 5000 gloves, they are superb and the pink puma pads .... very very light

Just bought some M&H Distinction gloves ......... will let you know what they are like when i get them.

I'm still looking around at pads and gloves, being honest it's becoming almost an obsession so I'm probably going to try to go to a sport shop to take a look at some of the kit.

For anyone else looking for pads or gloves there do seem to be some bargains at the moment.

Kickback sports have puma iridium 5000 gloves for £42.99, iridium 5000 pads for £59.90 and iridium flextech pads for £69.99

They also have good prices on the calibre stuff with the 5000 pads and gloves together working out at about £90.

Cricket-hockey also have some good deals.
