The above project has reached the final 3 in the top ten National Lottery Best Sports Projects for this year and now requires your help to win it!
The winners of this award will be decided solely by the number of votes received before 26th September. Please help Hampshire and disability cricket as a whole by voting.
The project promotes disability cricket in a wide range of areas, from encouraging disabled people to play the game, encouraging them to become coaches, offering coaching to those at a high standard and working with cricket clubs advocating the inclusion of disabled cricket within them.
Key successes are:
1) Over 1000 disabled players coached.
2) More than half play in competitions in Hampshire.
3) 3 Disability Teams represent Hampshire in National Competitions.
4) 20 Coaches regularly are involved in disability coaching.
5) 70 coaches briefed at HCBCA Annual Conference on how to include Disabled Players into their clubs.
