Sorry I deviated into a chat with C-D mate, I'd check out the Morrants balls as we use them in our Sunday games and they last well.
Although the Shamrock and Uzi Sports balls are top-notch from what I've heard, and perhaps you could get a cheeky forum deal on them ;)

might also be worth checking out VKS in Ealing - their own make balls come in at around £8 each bought in dozens and we've found them to be quite reasonable all things considered - shine up well and stay reasonably firm for 80 overs.

Stay away from Tiflex balls unless you have sight screens as in Devon clubs without sight screens have had real problems as they are very dark and hard to pick up when its not sunny coming out of the bowlers hand if they have hedges or woods behind them!!! Check with your league first as they sometimes specify a ball

Great value for money :D

We use these on a Saturday and I must say they are beautiful balls. As a keeper I always want the last ball to be a dot ball straight to me, scrap that, a nick behind suits well :D Then I pocket the match ball for nets.

Slightly out your budget, but if you ring up and buy enough they may drop them down to £12 each (Maybe discuss with a local club at buying them together to try get bulk discounts?)

we use them in are league decent balls!

we can pick between them and a dukes!

the dukes swing like (No Swearing Please) but are battered after 40 overs

We moved to the Readers County Match last season in our league.  By going directly to Readers directly I managed to get them for £10.50 a ball (we were buying about 160 of them).  They are a good ball, and hold their shine and shape well over the 40 overs of the innings.

Would like to thank both Asad and Johnnyw for sending me out a match ball each.

Both balls look to be very good, both have between 76-80 stitches and look well made. I am going to pass them on to our bowlers to use them in the nets.  I will let you know how they hold up

many thanks
