Went to PC Sports today and they have got plenty of new stock in. I was playing around with a few bats and noticed a nice looking Halo 505. Looked at the grains, 7/8 straight grains but something wasn't right. I then noticed a label just below the model number and it said something along the lines of "Artificial Grains".

If it wasn't bad enough that GM bleach perfectly good pieces of willow, they are now doing the GN/Kook trick of sticking a bit of vinyl down over what's left of the bat.

btw - a couple of lovely scoops and mongeese at PC Sports.
