This was another great game. We got drawn in the wrong section of the National KO cup and had to travel all the way to Truro. It pissed down with rain all the way down and when we got there Truro wanted to cancel and play again the following week. We were having none of that having done a 3 hr drive. So we played a 28 over game. They had Charlie Shreck in their side who was just making his way into first class cricket. Thing is he got a cut eye in the Truro warm up playing football so missed the start while he was at hospital. Anyway we batted first and struggled to 102 allout. Mike Munday taking 4 for 8 from 3 overs. Anyway we got stuck into Truro and they folded to 85ao. At the time truro were the Cornish Premier League champs and full of minor county players so it was a great scalp for us.
