Heres a couple pics of some old bats
My first full size bat
The polyarmoured one(SOLD) is just like it left the shop in the 80's

Any chance you can add these to the Vintage Bats thread? Have you ever used the Polyarmoured one?

The county brings back memories. . .i still think the one i had was one of the best bats ever.

Can you please put up pics from side on. . . .i am suprised that the hump design has never been copied. . . .

Obviously as a member with less that 50 posts, it is unlikely that this bat will be for sale on the forum at the moment... ;)

wow, seeing those pics really takes me back. My first real bat was a v12 county, and scored my first century for school with it, aged about 11 i think. It was probably a bit too heavy for me looking back but loved it. I saw it in our local sports shop saved up for weeks, i think it was about 70 quid which was a lot of money in 1986.

Without a doubt the greatest bat for tennis balls. No question! My next bat project it to trim up a heavy G1 number to look like a humpy v12
