Am I the Hosk of keeping gloves?
« on: December 20, 2011, 06:23:02 PM »

My recent post about being ripped off opened up a suggestion that I may be the Hosk of keeping gloves. So I thought I'd put my gloves on for you to see. :)

As I'm playing vets cricket next year, I would love to bring the Alan Knott slazengers out of retirement. Purchased in 1977 for £65, my first months wages. I was the bees knees in them. Just had them re faced by John Copus. We shall see, failing that it will more than likely be the SS Sundridges Gladiators.

To be honest mate I'm unsure, the slazengers are Alan Knott test that were shop bought in 1977. They do however have that Wymer style to them. The black ones on the left are a stripped down pair  Bob Taylors that I am having a go at webbing.
