Laver & Wood Big Bat Offer
« on: May 27, 2009, 09:22:46 AM »

Just got this newsletter from Laver and Wood and might interest those who use rather heavy bats!

Big Bat Offer

Laver & Wood have had a big sort through of our willow stock, and have a limited number of exceptionally heavy clefts. These are clefts that will make really big bats, bats that hit the ball a long, long way. The bats are not for the faint heart, or the slightly built, weighing between 3lb and 3lb 10oz.

Bats this heavy are not standard in Laver & Woods range, so we are making up a special, limited time, range of “Legend” bats at an extra special price. They are suited to Twenty20, or batsmen that want to get full value for shots when they connect.

The bats are made from our Grade 2 & 3 willow stocks.

Price including shipping to North America: US$150

Price including shipping to United Kingdom: £120

Price including shipping to Europe: Euro150

Price including shipping to Australia: A$250

Bats are made to the purchasers specifications, as long as they are made from the heavy clefts, meaning you will end up with a very heavy bat that just wants to clear the boundary every time you hit the ball.

This bat is only available while stocks of the heavy clefts last.

Please use this link to order the bat through the Laver & Wood secure order page.

There quite cheap but way too big for me to use. I'd hate to come up against someone slogging with one of these; they could send the ball an absolute mile.
