Remfry thighpads...
« on: February 12, 2012, 07:45:55 PM »

For people that ordered them, how did you find the experience?

I find most thigh pads really unnecessarily big so thinking about ordering a set of Remfry's, though I'd like them perhaps a touch smaller than most would call 'normal' for my size/height (I'm 6ft 3 and found the p1 Strippers Large to feel massive). Feels wierd to give the guy one measurement (or 2, including height) and assuming the pads will turn up exactly as I need.

Is anyone about my height and what measurements did you give for your knee to hipbone measurement?

Also, what strapping is there? Is it one waistbad then a band for each leg?

I'm 6ft4 and have been on a thigh pad quest for last year and found the size I use differs between if I use osm leg guards or men's leg guards

Yeah, I think the problem is I used a youths thigh pad for too long, and then some thigh pad shorts for my 'adult' career(!) which never had the biggest of pads.

I use OSM pads, and frankly can't remember the last time I ever got hit on the thigh.

I used normal men's pads and thigh guards for ages and found a gap between the pads so investigated and found what works and thigh pads I have now fit perfect with osm pads and other bigger ones fit perfect with normal pads which I still use for nets

I'm around 5.9" and the measurements I gave were 38 cm I believe, it was from pelvis bone to top of the pad hat.

I used them last night and I was using them for the first time and they were perfect, didn't feel bulky or anything like that. However, in rush I didn't wear them properly but they were superb, I highly recommend them.

Not too sure what you are asking about straps, the pads has velcro and the strap just sticks with velcro from any part (hope that made sense :S) ;

This picture might explain the strapping;
