For some reason this year I seem to be finding the toe of my bat more than the middle and I know it wont be long until somebody throws me a bat breaker at it smashes my bats toe. 

So apart from trying to find the middle of the bat what can I do to the bat to protect the toe?

I had thought about wrapping it in tape for the season.. Any other ideas?
