With the influx of mini-brands popping up on twitter, I followed Monty Sports as one of them

Got contacted the other day with their sale. G1 English willow for £85. Was interested so got more info. Pics look good, but think it is too good to be true.

Wants paying by PayPal gift, so not responded. They are based in Lancaster, so anyone heard of them? Is it a good deal or one to stay away from?

PayPal gift sounds a bit dodgy, probably trying to save a few quid but means you have no protection doesn't it?

Mate I bought one of those bats and he asked to pay as a paypal gift. To cover myself I paid as a business transaction. He agreed to put a face on it and knock it in. Told me they make the bats themselves. It came with Mids stickers on without a face. Told me that they had none of their own stickers so put those on instead. Also it was a completely different bat. Before I agreed to buy it they sent me pictures of the bat I would supposedly be getting. The bat that I got was extremely different. I got in touch with paypal and sent it back getting a refund. I would advise you not to buy a bat from them.
