Pittards comes from Yeovil so needs to be bought at source and shipped out to the manufactuer to cut it out for use in the gloves.

Genuine Pittards will carry a tag stating that its the real deal

Pittards never patented the designs in the leather so people can copy the pattern, but thats all they do in inferior leather. You should think what kind of company wants to fake a product and what that says about them.

Having spent half a day with them in Yeovil I learnt a lot about what they do and have forgotten most of it but the best leather comes from Ethiopian Sheep as they kill them once fully grown and so you get a strong yet soft hide. We don't eat mutton here and so lamb leather is too soft for the job.

Mike, I know what you mean etc however M&H Distinction gloves have same type of leather palm as Inferno 950, they don't have 'Pittards' tag either but they claim it (on website etc), so they are wrong right?

I know who makes those M&H gloves and they are fake Pittards, I've made the point to M&H directly and thought the claim had been removed from their site.
