Found my new supreme waiting for me when I got home from work saturday and I've got to say it looks lovely with a great finish. It's a shade over 2'9" with 13 straight grains and really light pickup. I'd bought the bat with Paul's knocking in service so I was able to go straight in the garden and tap a ball up and the responce was promising. This was followed by an agonising wait for the nets to open on sunday morning so that I could go and try it out properly. The ping off the bat was great, even against throwdowns with some old balls & even better against my dad's gentle medium.

I'm using it for a college T20 tuesday and a 50 over wednesday so I'll put a performance report up after

Some pics below (Sorry for poor photography). To give you an idea of size in the first pic, it's next to my old bat (2'10" Funky Fire) and my dad's (the blank one... only 2'6" and a bit).

Hmmm.... Pics didnt exactly work :/ any ideas how I make them bigger?

Also forgot to mention the handle, seemed a little odd at first as it was much chunkier at the bottom, but once I put gloves on in the nets it felt completely natural in my hands.

Is the tape on the bottom to hold on a toe guard? Hope it didn't come like that 

Every time I see one of these sticks I want one. I really need to get off my (No Swearing Please) and get one ordered up. 2.11 dressed, high spine, thinner edges, large oval handle and lots and lots of grains....thing is do I REALLY need it? I've got a match bat for the season and a net bat that is probably just as good as my match bat...and another 2 or 3 that are all good...

What is with the parcel tape? Were you putting a toe guard on?

Yeah that was to hold the toe guard while it glued... prob should have mentioned that :L
