Best duffle bag ?
« on: April 26, 2012, 04:50:56 PM »

Hi guys, I currently have the newbery duffle bag and it's just too small for what I need. I used to have the Newbery SPS but the brother managed to steal It off me when his broke. I bought the newbery Tour bag but it's just way too big(will be up for sale shortly). So I'm
Just seeing what everyone views are on the best duffle bag to accommodate for keeping stuff and whites as well as all the batting gear.
At the moment I've seen the salix and SS duffles which seem slightly bigger, so
Just looking to see if anyone has reccommendations for a decent duffle ?
Thanks in advance

I have a Newbery one and find it fine as long as you pack in a way to make the most of the space, I also have a RBK cricket one and it's a bit bigger but not as well made so prefer the Newbery one.

A guy at my club has got the M&H duffle. Not sure how it compares on size to what you already have but it's a nice thing. It's got a few useful outside pockets and seems to be of a pretty decent size...

I find it hard to get all my keeping gear in and then still find room for my whites. Can squeeze all the gear in but that's it

I ordered a Shark Duffle for £20 and have been very impressed.  There is a compartment for boots at the bottom, plus a bat pocket on the outside and another pocket on the front.  I've been able to fit lid, pads, gloves and spare bat in the main section and there is space for whites as well although I'm using a small back pack for them.  All in all a very good buy!  :)

Would you not be best off with a normal wheelie bag if you've got keeping gear too?
