We have been working with the retailers and customers through feedback to introduce a new range this year. We are expecting to release the Range to the masses on the week commencing the 10th December.
The new Range features the same shell as the standard Premier helmets but uses thicker foams within the A.C.I.S to offer a smaller size range within the helmet (52cm-57cm). Pairing this with a smaller size steel grille to bring it closer to the Junior players face we are pleased with the outcome and hopefully our customers will be too. Finished with some distinctive Yellow decals to distinguish between the youth and standard version we hope to see some in action across cricket pitches throughout the UK and beyond next season.
We are also introducing a different method of fixing the liners into the helmets via a Velcro system so that they can be removed to dry out etc and in the case of the Junior helmet replace once the player has grown to an adult size helmet. The thought process is that they would then be able to purchase and "adult" size A.C.I.S liner to cater from 52cm-63cm in size and an adult size Steel grille for £30 (approx) or upgrade from a steel grille to Titanium for £50.00 (approx) with the A.C.I.S liner included. Thus saving the need to buy an entirely new helmet by simply upgrading 2 components on their existing one.
