green mamba pads
« on: May 28, 2012, 08:39:54 AM »

Obviously this isn't a season's use mention on these pads, but early impressions are as follows.
The delivery turnaround from order to receipt was astonishing - far beyond even reasonable expectations.
The pads themselves looked great, and that raises your self esteem a bit, which is no bad thing in the confidence stakes. The pads also look very well made, no loose stitching etc.
The fit was excellent, generous straps with plenty of velcro on them, and once on they stayed put, no need to fiddle and faff with them out in the middle. Weight wise I found them to be pretty light and easy to run in, and batting second after 40-odd overs fielding with only 8 men in the field that was a terrific bonus I can tell you. Protection wise, again, excellent - mind you I'm not facing 70 mph bowlers, but I don't think these pads would be found wanting in that respect. I like them a lot and I think they are great value for money.
