Quick question. Do I need to wax/oil this before use? On the info that I got with the bat it seems to suggest that I do. If so, do I apply oil/wax to the back, toe, edges, and anywhere else where wood is exposed?

just apply oil to all of the bat, then leave to soak in horizontal (obviously stay away from the stickered and faced areas).

Wow that doesn't look like a grade 3 bat at all. Would love to hear the performance results from these bats. Judging by looks they rank right up there.

Hi all yes just oil the bare wood with raw linseed. All the bats are graded on performance not just looks and that one just didn't make the grade for my top ranges.
