Keeping

I am a part time keeper and i need some cheap but good quality gloves and pads. Got any suggestions or websites I can look at. I have looked at the regulars like cricket direct, serious cricket and owzthat cricket etc

I have a pair of Johnnyw's prototypes and they're pretty good. Nice and comfy and were cheap.

I bought these the other day as I'm taking keeping back up and didn't want to
Spend a fortune, however I found the men's very small. I don't think I have that bigger hands so I'd recommend trying them on with some inners. I borrowed a team mates and they felt nice and big and easy to throw one off when needed.

Keeping gloves should always be a snug fit, they must not be too big or too small otherwise you willnever feel the ball correctly

I have noticed this myself when I tried on some Slazenger WK gloves before buying some others. The new range are generally on the small size and short cuffed. I was almost tempted with the Sports Direct Slaz Ultimate WK gloves but were just too tight when inners were worn. Matt Prior uses Slazenger WK gloves but it is thought that he actually gets his made by Geoff Wymer.
