Its remarkable, lovely 'un!

I always wanted to try a Warsop but was never able to. Guess I should!!

How does it tap compared to your other bats and where would you stand this alongside Salix AJK?

It taps up very well to be honest, when you consider this is hand made and costs little more than a GM 909 or GN carbo then it is great value for money. This bat is like a few have said quite softly pressed and will take a bit of knocking in to fully open up. Whish for me is not a problem as it takes me quite a bit of prep and knocking in and generally getting used to before it becomes a match bat.  For those going to the net that Dean at Vulcan has arranged i will bring both along for people to see for themselves

In comparison with some of my other bats, at this stage it is in my top 3, far better then the dynadrive and all my other Gray Nicolls bats except my Maverick, the pick up is as good as the AJK IMO but performance wise and finish wise the Salix AJK is in a league of its own and rightly so IMO.

Look forward to seeing all your sticks at Dean's net mate :)

uploaded some pics of the bag, sorry i only have an iphone 4

the bag only sells fro £20 which is a bargain. Not as big as my Salix duffle and does not feel as strong but perfect for a net bag. This would struggle to hold my needs on a match day, would struggle to fit my keeping gear in as well, but will hold just a batters gear perfectly. Straps feel strong and colour scheme is also really good.

if you mean the line through the S on the front its just where the sticker was folded in half in storage. This was the last set of this colour decals in when i visited an it had obviously folded its self over and then had all the other hundreds on top on the storage box. Claire did as k if i was ok with it and it didn't bother me.  One lower down is just the scuff sheet

I'm a Warsop devotee and am not surprised at how lovely your new bat looks.

Stick with them, Warsop will see you right.

Not sure they will pull me away from Salix but i can understand why people like yourself that have used the brand for a while push there case a lot.  I think they offer real value for money and offer a very very good product.

Bat looks very impressive. Last year purchased Venom Pro from Warsop and it is such a quality stick.
